There are various cons of dating older women and the issue of new experience tops that list. The best thing about dating a younger woman is that you are able to experience new stuff together. An older woman, however, is not new to the dating game and what you consider to be a new experience is old news for her because she has been there and done that. Take for example a couple where the man is in his mid twenties and the woman is in her late forties. The time when she started dating was probably in the swinging sixties when rock and roll and becoming a member of the hippies was the in thing.
2. The society will be against the relationship
This is also one of the major cons of dating older women. The society is used to the ideal that the woman should be younger. The situation gets even worse if the age gap is very big and the woman is wealthy. People will tend to assume that the only reason you are dating is so that you can be able to get your hands on her wealth after she passes away.
3. They are very independent
When a woman relies on a man for support either financially or emotionally, sometimes it can make the relationship even stronger. A man likes to feel that he is the provider because it is the accepted norm. However, when you date an old woman she is likely to be established in her career and she will not need much emotional support because she has learned to deal with her emotions over the years.
4. You have limited time to start a family
The problem with dating an older woman, especially when she is nearing menopause, is that it can limit your chances of having babies and starting a family. If you are a young man seeking to start a family, then I suggest you date a younger woman because you will have better chances of success. A woman is supposed to have given birth by the time she reaches age thirty so that she does not get any complications during pregnancy.
5. You will have differences
This also one of the major cons of dating older women, the age gap of the couples should not be very great. It is usually easy for the couple to share there experience if the man is older than the woman.
